Trick-or-Treating with the Grandkids

Lots of grandparents do things with their grandkids like going to their sport games, to get ice cream, bike riding, fishing, camping, and even trick-or-treating. Trick-or-treating with your grandkids can be a blast and it's wonderful to watch their faces when all the spooks and goblins are running around from house to house. When you walk up to a house with a spook giving out the treats, the looks that a kid can give are just priceless.

From one end of town to the other, the kids are trick-or-treating, knocking on doors, and yelling. Many small children go with their grandparents; some are in strollers and some are walking, but mostly they run, if they can. There are many places to take your grandkids on Halloween, like to haunted houses or the neighborhood trick-or-treat party. One stop grandparents love to make is to trick-or-treat at the grandparent’s friend’s house to show off how cute their grandkids are. Lots of places have special events; some places even have a parade with judges for the best costume. Even grandparents can dress up for Halloween with the grandkids; the kids have lots of fun with that.

To find out where special events are for you and your grandkids, check out your local paper. You can even check out your local paper on the Internet. Here you can find all the local activities that you and your grandkids can enjoy together. But remember two things: check the treats and take your nap so you can keep up with them.
